I'm really confused about this listing.. it makes no sense to me. (I omitted some of it)

    Date Opened:
    04/1998
    Reported Since:
    10/1997
    Date of Status:
    04/2001
    Last Reported:
    04/2001

Creditor's statement: Account transferred to another lender

    Collection as of 11-2000, 10-2000, 9-2000, 8-2000, 7-2000, 6-2000, 5-2000, 4-2000, 1-2000 to 3-2000
Charge Off as of 1-2001, 12-2000
    60 days as of 12-1999, 11-1999
    30 days as of 10-1999, 6-1999

How can it be opened after the reporting since date? Which date do I use to figure out when the SOL clock starts ticking? This is one of the major ones that I want to get rid of.

I have an account like this as well. I disputed the opened and report since date, came back verified.

Are you talking about the reporting clock or the litigation clock?

the litigation date is what I'm trying to figure out.

    should be
90 days after the first deliquency that led to the account going to crap, so:
    6/1999+90 days..
so like 9/1999, therefore it would fall off 9/2006 (im dumb though, so let some other folks reply too)

EXP will show you when something is going to fall off, if you have it listed on there you can check it and see what it says.

That's for the 7-year reporting clock, not the "how long do they have to sue me" clock.

I'm not concerned when its going to fall off my CR, I'm just checking to see how much longer they have to bring a lawsuit against me.. I guess if I go from the 6/99 then it would be 9/05 for the 6 year SOL to be up. I'm tempted to try to get this removed, but I'm afraid to wake the beast trying.

According to the information that was posted in the thread I sited above, the SOL for a lawsuit starts on the date of your last payment, ie DOLA.
