I apply for a checking & saving account only, but the trust Co hit me with a hard inquiry twice. I did write the cra & trust co. The cra say I have to good to the trust Co. Equafax is the cra. The Bank has not written me back. I am ready to get on the phone but did they go against FCRA law?

    Brenda,

It is against the law if they accessed you credit report without your authorization. Look through the papers that you signed when you tried to open the account. Their is usually some clause that lets them check your credit report when tring to open an account.
