I applied for the Citi AASilver and Gold cards. Maybe someone remembers from a previous post that when I was applying on their site, I kept getting an error message after I hit submit and was told to try back later. Well I did that, and the end result was me getting 4 AASilver cards. I don't fly and I'm sure as heck not paying a $50/year per card annual fee, so I wanted to combine all of them to a Platinum Select as so many others are doing. I got all the cards in the mail today and I called to combine them. The woman I spoke with was very nice but indicated that since the account was so new that she would have to put in a manual request which would take up to 5 days. So I'm wondering, if in combining them, if they will decide that the computer did goof and that I shouldn't really have gotten 4 cards and take them away from me? If they do that, I'm hoping they'll leave me at least the 2 I wanted to apply for. Thoughts? I'm nervous! I was so excited about this and now I"m just worried that I used up *5* inquiries for nothing (it wasn't my intent to apply 5 times!, I got the 4 cards and then a denial for the Gold). Ozzy.
BACK DOOR DOUBLE is the ONLY way you can get a credit line increase... ~~~APPLY for a credit limit increase...$500...maybe $1,000...BDD...$5,000 maybe more...so people who have had the card for many months or years.
