Yesterday a board member told me that if almost all of someones credit is with only one bureau, they can pay that bureau or the others a fee or something like that to have the credit added to those CRA's who don't have it in their system. They said that credit unions do it.I need help with this and need to know more about it please. Thank you in advance! kev
I posted that because that's what a credit union told my brother. The credit union only automatically reported to Equifax here. But they said he could request TU and EXP add the line and the manager at the cu would verify it. Don't know more than that. You could always call the bureaus. I think the company adding the info would have to be a member (even if they don't regularly report). If the first rep says no, ask for a supervisor. Anyone done this???
