Anyone know if this is possible? Can forms be sent in the mail to the county courthouse to get this done? Thanks..

That is what I am attempting to do now. I printed off the form from the internet web site, filled it out and mailed CRRR to court, prev plaintiff and their atty.

Waiting to hear from judge. I will let you know how it turns out.

I am in SC and the judgment in CO. Mail is the only way! :) Call the county clerk. They will let you know.

    Good luck with yours!

Which web site did you go to?

I went to the Colorado Courts website. Selected county courts and the docs are all there. Your state, or the state that the judgement was awarded may have the same.

    Good Luck

I checked out some of the forms online for vacating judgements..

in the county i am checking into, it only lists vacate judgement forms for small claims? These are in PDF format.. any suggestions? Should I send these forms in regardless? I am not sure if it was small claims or district for this particular case?

Also - I noticed there were limits as far as days go.. as far as I know, it has been over a year since the judgement was 'satisfied' or PAID.. would these still work?

I just wanted to add that the PDF form has to be typed and the information on the person who filed the judment against you has to be the exact same as on the original.

I tried to file a motion by mail (had to enclose a check for a small fee and a self address stamped envelope) and they returned everything because 1. my form was not typed 2. the address for the creditor wasn't the same as what it was on the original judgment.

Thanks for the tips MP$40. What about the court? What if the only form I have is for small claims but it wasn't in small claims?

I hope I can call and get a live person when I call the county..

You should be able to talk to a legal advisor when you call the court. I was going through the courts in Santa Rosa regarding my judgment. I called a specific number and spoke with a live person. They instructed me on exactly what to do but left out the part about typing the document, etc.

Is this the form you have?

I need to follow up on my motion but just haven't had the time. I've already been told by the people (American General) that they will not respond to anything regarding my account since they have gotten their money.
