I was just browsing my Target account (guest card -not visa) and saw my measley $200 limit had been raised to $500. Hubbys too! I know this isn't significant to some - but it's like WOW to me!!! I've only been discharged since last July and only have had this account for a few months. I just sat there "mouth wide open"!!! I guess I just figured I would have to fight for any and all increases no matter what with my bk on my record now. I seriously never thought anyone would just GIVE me one! I think I'm still in shock! PS. I have a post on the general board about my computer problem (my laptop!). Need advice on laptops if anyone would be so kind. Does anyone use theirs with the adaptor? I do a lot cause my battery dies so fast. Well, the story of my problem is there, I have a compaq, think I want a different brand but not if all of them are weak at the connector point. I have to replace the mother board to fix this dang thing now. TIA!!
I responded to your thread in the general section. BTW, if your batter does not last long, you probably just need a new one. Mine lasted for 2 years before it no longer held a charge. Also, my Sony has no problems at the connector point (where the ac adaptor plugs in). In fact most of time that's exactly what I use since I usually use it at the table or in the living room.
Thanks Mindcrime!! I'm going to look into a Sony. They do look pretty sharp! I appreciate your feedback. I move around very little with mine, it goes from my desk to my lap (like a 45 degree angle) while I relax in a chair or in my comfy bed. I can't understand how it can break so darn easy inside there, just cheap plastic - uuggghh! Thanks again!!
