There is also a webpage out there where you can register on a board or any web page or web site that requires registration, enter the registration info you used to get on the page and after that anyone who knows about the data base can log in to the page using the same info and nobody will know who used it. Set up a new registration, register it with the data base and anybody can get the info and use it to log on with. I've got it bookmarked somewhere but heaven only knows where.

Yes, you are correct about this.
Also even if you do not register the ISP can be tracked and they can see WHERE you were before you went to the last site.
There are a LOT of people that find it interesting to find out about people and then bother them : (

We saw an influx of members from another message board a short while ago. I suppose they came over here in an attempt to get some traffic. They run all of their posters off by and large with hostility and general bad info. In any event, some of their posters REALLY don't like me at all. It all stems to the fact that I point out their bad information and did so along time ago on their board. Since then, they've had it out for me and in my "opinion" some of their actions have risen to the level of harassment and certainly, defamation.

Mind you, this all flows from a freakin' message board that exists to help people. I think some people use it as a medium to bash others and compensate for their own personal shortcomings but, I digress.

With that said, I know exactly what you're saying about people not liking someone for one reason or another. Typically, you're right, it is out of jealously or envy.

Isn't it funny how some people say good information will chase away bad, then they do everything in their power to make sure those with the good infomation can't come to their board?

It would be funny if it weren't true. Oh well, I think that board is getting ready to put the other foot in the grave.

Good riddance to bad rubbish . . .

I am in the same boat as you as far as some members not really liking me,for whatever wild reason they had in their delusional minds.

I had my friends that looked out for me which was a good thing.: )

    Hmmm . . . now I'm suspicious.

You don't make Bar Complaints by any chance do you, lol?

I have made two in my lifetime. One lawyer was disbarred the other one moved away.
You don't want to get me ticked off as I make sure that if I am out to get you, I will ; )

So long as you're not the person I was thinking of you can make them until your heart is content.

    I dunno, maybe I am ; )
Seriously I don't make a complaint just for fun or revenge, this was warranted.
The reason I ended up having credit problems was the fact that 1 lawyer and maybe the other scammed 300K and more from me!
I did end up getting some money back from the Bar of Overseers ,but not nearly what was stolen.

You're not the person I'm referring to and for what it's worth, I don't blame you at all. I would have sued them for conversion, breach, and a whole other set of tort claims.

    Apex,

I don't understand why would anyone complain to the bar about a non-lawyer?

Care to shine a light on what you meant or are worried about?

    Woofer,
I totally feel for you. I had to go toe to toe once with an attorney I thought had wronged me so I'm familiar with the feelings behind it.

It wasn't just me that thought "he done me wrong", but other lawyers. It's all done now,but there I was trying to pay off some debts because of the economy after 9/11 and the money was stolen!

On a good note I would never know all about JDB's and credit and all that jazz if I had gotten my money ; )

When you get a lawyer who you are not feeling good about, well it's bad. What was the problem you had?

    Thanks
