Please feel free to post your comments busting out AT&T on the PFB site at the bottom of the page.

About 10 of us from the office did this one time and got MCI to jump through hoops for one of our co-workers. It actually works!

    Thanks again.

What about total deletion of the account?

    Hermit,

Other than this one problem, it's a good account with $0 balance and it's showing good since 1993. I don't want to lose it from the positive side of my report. I just want them to fix this one problem.

Here's hoping! I think multiple comments from other parties on PFB will carry more weight than anything. Care to contribute your thoughts to the fray?

There is no link there for posting comments! I wonder where it went? I wrote them a letter that referred to your letter.

PFB took that option away from 99% of the members/users on the board.

I haven't been able to post for several months now. It had something to do with the fact that alot of people were creating user names and blasting others and going against PFB's guildlines of "keeping the language clean".

So now only a select group of members are allowed to post comments.

Not sure if they'll ever return the option of posting comments back to the rest of us.

Thanks Breeze, I appreciate the support. I guess that's the only way we have left to chime in on someone else's complaint.

I greatly appreciate all the support both on and off the board I'm getting on this one. If anyone else would like to "Write a Letter to this Company" on my behalf, I'd be extremely grateful.

    Thanks again,

Wow! I didn't know they had taken away the comments thingy!! That sucks. Maybe we should PFB them about it!!!

    Lots of members have.

It was getting way out of hand with a handful of users who were just plain nasty. Bashing in lots of "shared letters", flaming others who posted to these shared letters, etc.

I think you would have to e-mail PFB and request to become a member with access to post comments to letters.

    GEORGE,

Did you have to request permission to have the ability to post comments to letters?

    Can anyone request it?

I stated on PFB~~~fill in name PLANETFEEDBACK...I think that it is WRONG to get rid of ALL comments just because a few have a problem with their LANGUAGE (@^#@&^&%*#&&^!&)
    I think I also sent an E-MAIL to them...they also have a FAX#

I just followed George's example and PFB'd PFB.

    Here's what I sent:

Loss of comments equals loss of effectiveness for PFB

    Dear Sirs,

You have removed the ability to post follow-up comments to shared letters from nearly all your subscribers. I understand this was in response to the actions of several sub-literate cretins who insisted in conducting flame wars on your board. While I understand you need to retain the capability to police your own site, I do not feel it is appropriate to take this capabilty from all of us in response to the actions of a few miscreants.

I have been informed that you maintain a list of individuals who are still approved to post information to your board. Please enroll my name on your list of approved posters, so that I can contribute feedback (that is the purpose of this forum, isn't it?) to the shared letters section.

    Thank you for your time.

    Dancer

You can feel free to use this as a template for your own letters. Just substitute your favorite appellation for "sub-literate cretins" and "miscreants". If you need suggestions, just look under the descriptions some creditnetters use for collection agencies. ;-)

After they let you in, how about posting a comment on the board?

PFB sent me an e-mail that basically said: "Well, since you asked to be able to post responses and were polite about it, we've got no problem with you posting. Here's your new access codes to post responses."

If only the idiots at AT&T would be so compliant........

    Update:

I hadn't heard from AT&T so I resent my PFB with a snailmail copy last week. Today, I get a notice that they have updated my account to R1 rather than R2, but the 1x30-day late is still showing. I'll work on that in a little while if it doesn't drop off with the new R1.

Unfortunately, I disputed this with equifax and my score dropped when it came out of the equation because it was my only card listed on equifax, so now I have no credit cards in my profile. Sheesh!

I tried to un-dispute it last week but the clerk told me she couldn't stop a dispute in progress. Gonna ask for a Supervisor this time.

    Thanks for your support.
