CANCELLED BANKFIRST My husband has had this card for 4 years and he recently just got upgraded to the Silver Actioncard and yes this was good because I felt like this was going to be the start of something great, but after starting out with the card 4 years ago and the initial credit line being $500.00 today as of 3-12-02 the limit is $750.00 I made him cancel that worthless card so quick it made the chick in RENTENTION feel like she was just another CR REP....what in the HE** are they thiinking $750.00 when we have a CITI Platnium with a $18,000 limit, the thing that really pissed me off is that after we called to ask for an increase they said NO and then the CR rep says is there anything else I can help you with I said yes, you can close the account ....Oh then that's when they wanted to talk. Started promisng all of this BOGUS WORTHLESS SH*^ and even offered a $50 increase, KISS MY A&*.....I said nope that's o.k GOOD-BYE ! Boy I feel great, you know SUB-PRIME can close the door on us all the time it sure feels great to reciprocate! HAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Re: CANCELLED BANKFIRST I remember Bankfirst. I had just cleaned someone else's bankruptcy off my credit report. A short time later I got a preapproved offer from BankFirst! $350 CL, $59 annual fee and $79 one time fee. I was happy. Two weeks later I got a preappoved offer from MBNA. I thought no way, but applied anyways. Approved for $5500. A Citibank Platinum card was another 6 months way. Man, did I feel stupid for doing the bankfirst card. Closed the card after 11mos. I did end up with a $450 CL. WooHoo! Anyways, congratulations on closing BankFirst!
