   It for an account that's 6 years old and closed in 1998, but I'd like to dispute it..
   
   Its Jeff Mortage Inc..
   
   Which I am pretty sure is
   
   Jefferson bank in Philadelphia
   
   but it doesn't show up in the creditors section of my report..
   
   Anyone know if they were bought out?

   Best time to dispute a debts is when the creditor is no longer around - no one to verify it.
   
   BUT, be aware that most CRA's just slap "verified" on it anyway. If they do that - then you have a roight to the name and address of the company that verified.
