Hey... I make $53k a year and have 690-ish Ficos with all good stuff...I have that nasty 1999 charge off from Cap 1 that won't go away and NO ONE will give me a cc....at least, I've tried Discover who sent me a pre-approval...DENIED! That was 5 months ago...then tried another...denied again. I do not want to get hard inquiries looking for a card...but EQ wiped out my file and I want to get a new CC. I have an Amex, but that is it. Had it since 1989....suggestions? Oh, my credit sucks cus we went belly-up in 1995 when my spouse's business died. I need tradelines!!!!
Have you tried Chase? I have 2 charge offs (1 paid and 1 being disputed) and I got a card with them with a decent interest rate of 12%. Good luck!
