I'm annoyed. I called Citibank Retention. I have a Sony card from Citi. I asked if I could be moved into another card and he said "sure." That is until he knew what type of card I had. So for anyone looking to defect to another Citi card, they won't let you. I think this probably deals with another post mentioning that Sony cards will be moving over to BankOne or something. I was "invivted" to apply for another card online....
eriqnoodle, I called Citibank Retention Department to ask for converting my Sony into Driver's Edge. She told me that they cannot do it with this card and it is a dealbetween Sony and Citibank. She told me to apply for another Citibank Card if I want to stay with Citibank and she also sent me info on Dividend Card and Diamond Preferred by mail. By the way two months ago, Bank One closed all my accounts with them and I don't like them. Ron.
Re: Re: Can't switch fron Sony Card They screwed up crediting my payments on 2 different accounts. for Aug. Sept. and Oct. They also hit me up with mutiple 35 dollar late fees on each account and jacked the rate from 5.99 to 15.99 on one account and from 5.99 to 12.99 on the other.
