Can someone explain to me by looking at this entry when the tradeline will fall off? NCO FIN SYS Acnt#0000000000 >Placed for Collection< Verified date: 12/2002 Placed: 2/2002 Balance:$800 Most Owed: $1000 Past due: $1000 >Status as of 12/2002: Collection Account< Do I look at the status date and count 7 years from that? Is trans union hiding the date that they use to determine when it will fall off? I know the date of delinquency on this debt was 7/2001 (from other credit reports)...it was a utility bill that was never paid. Before I disputed this listing the "verified date" said "updated" and the date matched the status date which was then 4/2002. Has this account been re-aged after my dispute? If the status date is the date TU uses to count 7 years from, then clearly it appears to be re-aged. Can anyone shed some light for me? Thanks Luke
Anyone know the answer to this one? I'm sure it's been asked a million times but I cant find the answer in the search function either. Luke
