I tried the automated system for an increase and it denied me with some nonsense about a previous delinquency with Capital One. Only problem with that is I have never been late. So, I talked to a rep who said they couldn't do anything. Pure b.s. So, as much as I wanted to avoid bothering Mr. Cooke, I had to. $1000. again.
I go straight to Mr. Cooke anymore. I dont bother with coustomer service. Last time I spoke with a supervisor as CS she said "I see you have been working with Eugene". So thats the quickest route to a solution and I use it.
$1000 is pretty good. Congrats. What is the new limit you have. Eugene is my next contact with Cap 1.
I agree that Mr. Cooke has tighter constraints. I am thinking that one of the things that may have changed for him is his ability to go beyond a 6 month increase. It used to be if you got the standard $200 6 month increase from CS that he could override it and give you more. From posts here at Creditnet I am thinking that all you get is one shot at the 6 month increase. If you get it from CS then thats it. Thats why I go straight to the person with the poweer and don't waste time on CS.
