I applied to cap 1 and was denied, I PFB Cap 1 and a ms Amanda Mays contacted me and said she would reviev my denial, She called back today to inform me that I had been approved for a $500 limit card at 11.5%. I am happy with that for now. What is the key to success with CAP 1, credit increases and fees?
You already know the answer! Use PFB. The CSR's that you talk to on the phone are a waste of time. How many hard inq.'s did they pull? Also, it appears Mr. Edward Cooke is no longer dealing with the PFB letters or he got some help.
I talked to Amanda Mays last week and she was going to review my app to see if I could get a higher limit on my Plantnum card than the $300 I got. She said she would call back within 72 hours. That was last Wednesday.
Yes I will need her number if it is a direct number. She had emailed me with a number but it seemed to be 'general' number and I had to go through three differenct people to get to her.

they pulled a hard on TU and EXP last month when they rejected me, when amanda looked at it and got it approved they did not pull at all, she said that she did not need to!!!
