I saw a list of credit cards to apply for on this board somewhere. It showed which cards to apply to w/ particular scores.

For the worst, it had an unsecured cap 1 card w/ a $300 limit for people right after a bankruptcy.

However, when I went to their website and went to apply, it said not to apply if you have a BK on your record, a currently past due act and something else.

Looks like that card should be taken off that list.

Not real sure how hard that card is to get with a BK. I know that once you have a pos tradeline on your CR for like 6 months, they will bombard you with pre-approved offers. I took one, and now I have a toy card $300. the plus is that I use this card for a lot for the web and such things. Where if the number was lost or stolen, they couldnt really get that much and the headache would be that much smaller for me. On a side note, I tried to have the limit raise thru PFB, without success. This was a few months back. I talked to Mr. Cooke and explained that I had several negative charge offs on my reports when I got this card, that my credit picture had changed for the positive and that I would appreciate an increase. He told me they would review the limit and get back to me within 48 hrs. Never heard another thing out of them. Oh well. No big deal.

I included Cap1 in my Ch7 BK. One year later, they offered me an unsecured card w/a $500 limit. 15 months later I've got a $1900 CL.
