This is me again! vghost, itsmymoney, jam... anyone up and awake this morning? I have a question as I am picking apart DHs reports. DH has a Charge Off with both Crap1 and CCB. He had paid a CA for these accounts. (Crap1 was a settlement to NCO and CCB was in full to Midland) Both of the OCs are still showing a balance. DH disputed them as Not Mine, came back verified; disputed as wrong balance/account information, and EQ updated the comments but not the balance. Crap1 changed from "Charge off Account/R9" to "Account Closed by Credit grantor/R5". CCB updated the comments to read "Charge Off Account". Shouldn't they be reporting 0 balance?? Do I need to contact the OCs since obviously the CRAs didn't fix it? Once again, just trying to get these to accurately reflect everything is paid and all our credit problems were from 1999.
Maybe the third time is a charm? This is why I need help directly... these boards are busy and my questions sink away!
