Cap 1 - Do they work with you?

    All:

    I remember posting to PFB and getting courteous responses from a couple of gentelmen at Cap 1 where they assisted with my problems. I hear this doesn't happen anymore.

    I have accumulated a 60-day and a 30-day late pay on two accounts which are over 6 months. I don't know how I did this, aside from being lazy. Anyway, is Cap 1 still willing to remove if you call and explain the situation? Are they willing to help?

    I don't know about neg's, but I pfb'd yesterday about combining my three accounts. I received a response today via email- they asked me to call the 800 Customer Response Line.

    I called today and they combined my three accounts. They kept the oldest account as they said that was best for my score. I found them to be very helpful.

    My guess is that it won't hurt to try!
