I have had my Capital One MC for about a month. Secured, paid $99, got $200. I applied for another one to add tradelines to my credit, assuming secured. I was approved, no deposit, $200! Not much, but I am getting better. I think the difference was between the 2 applications, a few bad items were removed from my credit report. AWESOME!! I am seeing the light, and staying in control this time! : ) Thank you very much for the help from all of you!! I LOVE IT!! Dustin
congrats! Everyone here likes to hear the good news.. How long between cap 1 applications? i didn't know they let you apply for the same product twice!!
Good going! I got an unsecured Cap1 in June and got a $500 limit increase by September. Hopefully they will treat you well, too.
Sam, I think the difference is that one of them is secured, and one is not. I got the $200 unsecured, as well as the $500 for $99 secured. I was actually hoping to combine them, but after Roni's experience, I will wait until next year to try. Cheers, Cindy
