I've had a cap 1 account for almost 4 years. I justreceived my experian cr and they have not reported anything since 7-2000, when I reported the card stolen. It looks bad, but really I have good standing with them, and have not paid late for over 1 year. How do I get them to update the information, which will increase my score? Will PF work, and how would I do a PF letter/ to whom do I send the letter?
Good route. Be very nice and while you're talking with them... ask about getting the old neg credit removed for your trouble... then, in a followup (or in the second call) get a credit line increase and better terms. Do it in sections and you'll likely get part or all
