Nope I actually did end up calling back and talking to a very nice lady although she couldn't do anything for me. I was looking for either an attractive bt offer or lower int rate or higher cl (I made up this long story about how I wanted to buy a digital camera & new printer, etc...). NADA. She said she would "note my account" , whatever that means. We did chat a bit though and she said that my payment history is great and I use the card a lot.

    Oh well, maybe next time.

why couldn't she do anything for you? Sometimes I swear that Cap1 isnt all that interested in making money.

Well, the main reason is probably because my scores are pretty bad....TU 499 (grrrrr), EX 582 (3 deletions & it dropped 8 points), EQ 574 (fico).

Plus, I just had a line increase a couple months back. Although, I would have taken a balance transfer offer only because it would be a good way for me to jack my balance so my 'high credit' reports more than $220 like it is now....

She said that they will keep me in mind when they do an account review. Okay, sure, like a real person is actually doing those reviews. I think they usually just pull a soft inquiry and see if anything has improved. They've pulled lots of softs on my reports, but never given me anything without me asking them for something first.

what limit do you have with them now? I have lower scores and they give me just about everything I want... that line increase 2 months ago is probably what is holding you back.

PFB to get to the Executive Office...Cap1 retention does nothing. PFB/The Executive Office is the only way to get noticed at Cap1.

I'd suggest you PFB'ing Mr Cooke, however if you just received a credit line increase two months ago, he probably won't do anything for you.

I recently tried to get a bump in my line that was given to me approx 4 months ago, and he called me back asking me to wait 2 more months.
