Hi All- I filed bk in 2000, had a perfect pay history (for the most part before and) since and my credit score is in the high 600s. My cap one gold card started out as a secured, so they won't promote it to a plat even thought the cl is at $5400 now. On a whim, I applied for a miles one card online and received that you will hear in 7-10 days response...what are my chances? If I didn't get it do you think they would offer ne another product that I upgrade into a plat? Many thanks... Mirage7
yeah its hard to tell... I remember asking someone to the Prom way back when and she told me to wait 7 to 10 days.. It was the longest wait but she finally agreed to go with me..
Man, her processing/approval department must've been pretty busy! Did she have to check your....FICO.... before saying yes? I hope it turned out to be a 'rewards' account.... I've been the recipient of both a yes and a slap in the face. Kind of like some lenders: you don't know what it takes to get the account until after you've asked for it.
