how do i get my cap 1 fee removed/refunded? i called retention a couple of weeks ago and got a reduction in my interest rate. do i call there again? i have searched the board and can't seem to find what i am looking for.
What kind of fee? Annual fee??? You can get that removed or halved by customer service. Just call and ask if there is a better rate available and you'll get redirected to retention.

Assuming your account is in good shape, you should not have a problem getting the fee waived. If they offer you half, take it, call back again and get the other half. What to say? "I don't pay a fee for any other credit card" - this is true even if it's your only account, right?
i called the CSR. i was told that there were "no offers available" to me at the moment. so, i couldn't get the fee reversed. thoughts?
