Anyone have any experience with C1and blacklisting?

Situation: Consumer had a C/O with them 10 years ago. Also had account with HSBC more recently (3 YRS) and C1 bought those accounts about a year back I think. Consumer is a AU on a CC backed by C1, no issues there. Would it be wise/suggested that she apply for a C1 card these days?

I don't think they blacklist, at least if they no longer own the account.

So if the card would be past 10 years, it would have most likely been sold. If the HSBC status is negative, they may still own that account, but they may have sold that one too.
