In the mail today I received an offer from Cap one to increase my credit limit. (I have 3 cards with them) this offer is for my low limit credit card at $500 right now.

The offer is to give me an increase of $250 and they will charge me $39 bucks.... what a joke, I usually get nice increases from Mr. Cooke for free.... Sorry Cap One, but I am not that desperate anymore.

The more I learn about Cap 1, the more I dislike them. Am waiting to hear back from BofA and Chase (preapproved). If either one of them comes through, I'm dumping Cap1 on principal and let my scores be damned!

I closed all three of my accounts. They are completely too hard to get increases out of.

I know, pay for a credit line that they do not even report?? I am thinking about firing off a PFB, because I think that I can get the increase without any fees, and if I dont, who cares.
