Cap One is Changing my Status ?

    I sent them a Nutcase letter in mid-january and here's what they responded to me.

    BTW it's a paid charged-off account. How should I proceed? Do i send another Nutcase letter?

    "Thank your for your inquiry regarding your credit bureau report. After researching your account we took the following action: Reported the above referenced account as paid in full with R9 status. Cap One forwarded it to the 3 CRA's

    Please allow 60-90 days for the CRA's to update the info on your credit file"

    What is R9 status?

    I want this deleted NOT a change in status.

    Someone help me out!!!

    R9 is the code for charge-off. From the sound of it, Cap1 isn't doing you any favor. They're simply going to report it as a paid charge-off, which sounds like the way it was being reported earlier. I wonder what kind of research they did and where it was done (i.e., in India?).

    Sounds like it's time for the next of the nutcase letters.

    I thought so, maybe it did come from India at the bottom it said
