Cap One or Orchard to Rebuild?

Just filed bk and got a couple halfway decent credit card offers in the mail. I bk'd on Cap One, so I'm kind of surprised to see that one, but ....

I've gotten an offer previously for a new CC from Alegis, but with a 10k time-barred debt tacked on. I've read every word on both these CC offers and see nothing about reaffirming an old debt. Am I safe?

Cap One is offering a $49 annual fee and 14.9%. Orchard is offering a $39 annual fee and 18.9%. I don't plan on carrying a balance, so the % doesn't matter to me, and $10 a year difference for the annual fee isn't much. Both have an arbitration clause.

One thing I'm concerned about is how long they give you from billing to payment date. I don't remember which card I used to have that only had 19 days sometimes. Anyone know if one of these companies is better than the other in that respect?

Calling all experts, which company would you rather deal with?

in my opinion check out ripoffreport.com and type cap 1 name in the search area that will give you some idea.

If you are just being charged an annual fee, and not a program fee or monthly maintenence fee, why not get both? It would be better to have 2 accounts to rebuild your credit than just 1.

Also try apbank.com. They have a good secured card that reports as unsecured.

Why start over with this when you just got it off your back. ?*?*?*??
2*Of course you don't,why would they tell you the're trying to put the screws to you?
3*Safe as going over a 1000 foot cliff!
4*19 days is generous, though not adequate as they only have to present the bill 14 days before it's due.
