A friend of mine recently applied for this and he told me that they sent him a regular Cap One card ($1,000 limit) with a 9.9% fixed rate and no annual fee. I know he has great credit, but how come Cap One didn't give him the Platinum card? The main difference I see between the Platinum card and his card is the credit limit, after all the interest is the same (9.9% fixed). Do you need to be an established Cap One customer with great credit to get this card?
No, see my post from 3 April 2001. I got an invite from Cap1 for a Platinum Card for better terms that 9.9%.
