Im curious about everyone complaining about Capital One...here's my "good" Cap one story... back in 2000, I opened the monthly fee CapOne card (let's not forget about the yearly charge too) with a limit of $300..after a year I was sick of paying for it and closed it (they did list "closed at request of consumer") In Dec of 2003, I got an offer for the 0% interest for 6 months, no annual fee, and $39.00 "one time fee". the limit was $200 and they said "after 3 months of no missed payments yadda yadda yadda, we'll raise it to $300 a month. So three months roll by, nothing... I just logged on to my account and they booted my limit up to $2000..HUH... I was more than thrilled that they thought I was worthy enough and now the card is sitting in a safe place (I hate that I feel like I need to shop now) Yeah, the first card sucked, big time, but I have to say, I'm pretty please with CapOne now (don't know how long that will last!)
