Applied and denied for Cap1 no fee visa. Definitely not worth my 3 CE points (they only checked EXP). The reasons cracked me up... Excessive current delinquencies (all charge-offs from 95 and 96???) Excessive recent credit inquiries (besides this one, only one other hard inq on EXP also Cap1- LOL) Serious delinquency or collection filed Derogatory credit information OK, OK I got it already-- I think they are trying to tell me my credit sucks!! YA THINK... I did get a pre-approved offer for the Platinum, so I guess thats not so bad. Just hate to get another inquiry from these guys. Sigh.
it might be worth a pfb letter. If your derogs are that old maybe they got "reaged" if you disputed them... anyway, a manual review might get you a card if you still want to try. You may also want to repull all your reports and see if something's been added
there pre approvals mean nothing!!! i have ther gold cl 800 and classic 500. last month i received there pre approval for tj max visa and was denied.they pulled experian my worst when pfb them mr cooke said sorry try re applying in six months
What are your scores at? I have been approved for 2 TJX Visas, and supposedly Im in the bottom 3% of everyone... (what a joke that is) hehe Tell Cooke 6 months is rediculous!!!
