Okay so I called the automated system since when I spoke to a Cap1 csr they said I needed to call the automatic system. So I called and entered my social and zip code. The automated response then said that Cap1 was reviewing my application and that I should hear from them before August 15th. Is this good-- or is this bad? I am all paranoid now. Thanks!
Hey, I'm not following you around, but I just wanted to say that I wish you luck, and PLEASE don't be paranoid. The system could have said declined, so maybe there is hope. Again, good luck......
Hey, I don't know. I was just thinking that some people have posted that they have called and got declined, and saw they wasted an inquiry. From those posts, I am guessing that they would tell you if you are declined.
I guess you could be right. We shall see. I can not hardly bear the wait. I would just like to know. I have not carried a credit card in so long. I have some really good things working in my reports right now (a paid off car loan never late, a new car loan never late, my studnet loans never late, and a new computer loan never late) but with my three-four year old charge offs my scores are only low to mid 500s. I have some work to do. *sigh*
Hey, I envy you on the computer loan. That is one of my goals to be able to say to myself, 'Dudette, you're getting a Dell'. But seriously, with all the good things that are on your report, you hopefully should get something.
Well I was lucky. My university (I am going back this fall to finish up my final year!) requires laptops for incoming students. Of course, I did not really need a new laptop-- but it is a super duper IBM Thinkpad with so much nice stuff in it... and since I know I could not get that kind of money anywhere else-- I went ahead and applied for the loan and was approved through the college foundation here in NC. So now I have this positive 3500.00 tradeline being reported monthly to all 3 CRAs. Plus the new used car loan I got with low interest from my Credit union not to mention I paid my other car loan with my credit union in full a month previous.
