Cap1 Authorized user

    Just a quick question. Anybody here add an authorized user to their Capital 1 accounts? Did they ask for soc sec # also, or just the name. I am very curious.

    It's been about a year since I did this, but iirc, they ask for both.

    did they report the trade line on the au's report?

    Yes, but I believe it took a few months to report.

    I though about this recently too. Cap 1 did require a SS# for the AU. But I don't recall giving my spouses SS# to obtain additional cards on Household Bank, Discover, BofA, Lowes or Penneys. They are reporting on his report also.
