Could somebody tell me what this means? I disputed a Cap1 charge-off with Experian. They haven't sent the results of my investigation yet - and it still says it is under investigation - but today it says "Refinanced/charged-off" and shows a balance of $0. It was $1017. Could somebody tell me what the heck this means??? By the way, I have not had any communication with Cap1 about this account since 1999.
Just checked my CE score and it has gone down 10 points. ??? The past due balance that I owe went down over $1000 and my score went down 10 points?
