Does Capital One investigate your credit history when deciding on a credit limit increase? I opened an account with them in Dec 2002. It is now time to ask for a credit limit increase from the initial $250, for a platinum account. But, do not want an inquiry for a minimal credit increase.
Depends on how you go about it. If its the automatic $100 per 6 or 9 months then no, they user A/R, history. If you ask Mr cooke, you should ask him if he's gonna pull a hard, its happened before. They have gotten really stingy imo.
