Does anyone have a name and number at Cap1 that I can call and speak to to get my annual fees waived? All I get are these ninnies who, when I threaten to close my account, would just process the close and not even try to save the account. They readily admit I am the type of customer they want to keeo but will do nothing to keep me. My scores have progressed to the point where I am no longer sub-prime and Cap1 still treats me as sub-prime. They have told me outright that the terms you get when you open the account will be the terms forever (unless they decide to change the terms for THEIR advantage).

Then again, maybe I should ask them to send me that poincy in writing just in case they decide to change the terms in the future....

It's probably in one of the archived posts. A more important question is whether or not Mr Cooke (or whoever is there) can do anything any longer or do they not want anything further to do with the pee-ons (account holders).

The funny (?) thing is - they give out spartan credit lines to marginal risks without blinking. It costs them money for each account they open.

After a little over a year I built one of their $300 credit lines into a $3500 and a $4000 credit line with them. Now taht I am proven creditworthy they apparently WANT me to take my creditworthy a$$ somewhere else. Some business model!!!
