I applied for a Cap1 no fee visa- the application was not immediately processed online and they said to wait for response via mail... I figure this means I am denied. I haven't received anything regarding my app, but I did receive a pre-approved Platinum offer today. Should I take this to mean that they are counter-offering the Platinum to me? Only concerned because the pre-approved offer says not to apply if I have applied for a different Cap1 card in the last 45 days. What to do?
It is not a counteroffer, wait until you hear from them, if you get denied, then just wait the 45 days and send in that plat pre-approval
You can call them at 1-800-933-5182 and they can tell you if approved or not. I called them about the kmart cap 1 card. The lady told me it was approved and I should receive it in 5-7 days. When I applied at kmart it said I would receive information through the mail (so the girl said) I waited a few days and called the number, approved.
