I used the Virginia Retention number posted here to call about my card with a monthly fee. I explained to representative that I have been lied to on two occasions about this card and that I do not find any additional value in paying a monthly fee. So she gave me a credit for the 3 months of the monthly fee. Her reason was that in three months, I would get a credit limit increase and fee reduction. She did this after I threatened to close the card. Again, I told her I was willing to keep the card, but not with a monthly fee. My three months for the card will be in March. Let's see if I have success or just another lie to keep me with the card. Mike G.
