Hi, I am a newbie. Has anyone here heard of Capital Management Services? I was contacted by them about a Capital One chargeoff, dated Dec. '01. I told them that I had settled this with another agency 2 years ago and have the receipts of payment. They told me that unless I had a letter from that agency stating that this debt was settled, that my receipts were not going to do me any good. Any suggestions???? Thanks.
I'm not really sure. All I can find is the receipts where I paid them $504.00. This was about 2-2 1/2 years ago and I can't remember all that was agreed upon. But they never contacted me again for anymore money. The limit on the credit card was $300, Capital One charge-off was $1177. (not sure if this info is useful). Thanks.
