For MBNA I do DIRECT DEPOSIT TO CHECKING...they encourage it!!! As far as a $50.00 fee..I NEVER PAID ONE (WITH BofA)...it would say something about it in the FINE PRINT... "IF" it says anything about "CASH ADVANCE" check...IT PROBABLY HAS A FEE...(and may be at the 20% rate)

I don't have to apply for the card and no need to get extra inquiries for all three credit bureaus. Cap1 usually tough to approve for the best term card or give you alternative bad terms card to you. By the way, they usually give you low $500 CL TOY Card for the Platinum MC!!! Ron.

I have their 8.9 card now. and called them yestereday and asked if I qualified for this new card. She said its only by invitation....

Re: Re: Re: Capital One 4.99% fixed Plat. MC!!! Wells Fargo has a 4.25% fixed Prime rate card (they match whatever the prime rate is) but I bet no one gets approved for it. The disclaimer says you agree to accept the Platinum 0% APR (for 6 mos) card if you are denied the Prime rate card. What does that tell you?
