I added my best bud to my Capital One card a few days as an authorized user to boost her credit. After we get her added, then the CSR tells me that they do not report authorized users to the CRA. Anyone not have a spouse as an authorized user on their Capital One and get/not get it reported?

Just wondering, and need to know asap.

I saw in another thread someone answered re: AU that they report from date opened. Did Cap One tell me they won't report because:

    1. subprime card?
    2. CSR in Phillipines doesn't know any better?

#2...call again and you might get a CSR in Bombay that knows the answer.

Bank America CSR told me the same thing...called back and got a different answer.

I've seen reports where the AU get reported. Maybe Cap 1 doesn't, but most do. Being subprime shouldn't make any difference.
