Does anyone know the requirements for adding an AU to a CapOne account? Does she have to be related? Or just anyone you trust whose SSN you know? Is it an automatic approval or do they run a credit check on the propective AU individual?
The AU would not have to be related to you. As far as requirments, I would think since they're only an AU, and you're still the one and only responsible party for the card, it would be automatic. Only scenario I can see them getting turned down is if the AU has issues with C1, like an unpaid charge-off, or bk'ed on them, it might not be a good idea, nor would they accept them as an AU.
I didn't think about whether she's on the CapOne blacklist! I think she had a settlement on her Visa 4-5 years ago but I forget it it was Capital One or Bank One. But other than that, I was figuring they would just rubber stamp her approval.
