Has anyone used Cap One Auto for a used car loan? What are the rates like and do they allow for a co-signer if you have terrible credit? Thanks.

Thanks, let me know how it goes. What did they require of you? I never applied for a car loan over the internet. Thanks again

I'd like to know as well. Do you need to be within a certain LTV ratio on a vehicle or do they just give you a dollar amount limit without a LTV?

Let me just say this-before you do ANYTHING, check with the dealer to ensure they accept it. One dealer I am working with waited until after we had made the deal to tell me they don't work with them. One flat out refused because "they hold checks." Get the story straight before you do anything.

I faxed everything, including the check draft, over to Ford Dealership before going today to make sure they accepted this deal and they could fulfill the auto obligations. So far, I have not heard any reason why we won't close this afternoon. I applied online, was approved in a few minutes, have to buy through dealership franchise, used vechile have no more than 50,000 miles and no older than 97. Will finance up to 5 years, but, I chose to go with 3. Will be going over after work this afternoon, will post the outcome tonight. Roni

why not just take that loan to the dealer and make them beat it??

9 out of 10 times they will beat the rate.
