I am new here and just seeking some advice. I have a Capital One card that I have not paid on since Dec, 02. I know I should have. I don't deny that nor do I deny the debt. I just don't have the $1000 right here and now to pay it. The account was charged off according to Capital One at $1082 (including late fees and penalties). I have been receiving calls from what shows up on my caller ID as NCO GRPHCS INC, and I have accepted all the calls and talked nicely to them (didn''t always get nice back). The last letter I received regarding the account was from Capital One about a week ago. I haven't received anyhting from the NCO folks. Anyhow, I have offered to make payments of $30 through CCCS which they refuse. They said they are sending it to the attorneys to file suit. I am the only name on the account and I have no job or property. All of our income is in my husbands name and we live in New York state. My question is now what happens? I have never been though this and was wondering what happens now? Thanks for reading this Alissa
