I just pulled my report and a capital one account that had lates on it was updated to "Paid, Closed/Never Late". This is months after sending a goodwill letter (actually two) asking for removal of those lates and receiving a response that basically told me "nice try, no way". The account is in good standing now. No idea why they updated it now. Hmmm. I'm not complaining... just wondering if Capital One finally got around to having that stick removed.
