hi guys, does anyone know if its possible to actually win an appeal against being declined for a card from capital one
Anything is possible, if you take to either the Florida Supreme court or the Supreme court. http://www.creditsense.com
>>Anything is possible, if you take to either the Florida Supreme court or the Supreme court. That's true, but to get the US Supreme Court to hear it, you have to proved that they've violated a constitutional right.
What type of card did you apply for (secured/unsecured) ? Do you have any other credit cards ? Do you know what's on your credit reports (Equifax, Experian, Trans Union) ?? What were their reasons for denial?? Review all these issues, If the facts contradict their reasons, then you could ask Cap1 to review your application over. Provide them with the facts. P.S I notice that some people on this board get irritated when Cap1 is mentioned... all I have to say is treat others like you would like to be treated. Maybe the reps attitude sucks because your own attitude sucks... and maybe they don't agree with your terms because you haven't proven yourself yet (no credit experience/major screw ups in the past). Cap1 gave lots of people a chance when other creditors turn their backs away. Peace !
I agree.. The professionalism i've received from cap 1, is only bested by citibank. I had FNB and Aria (just cancelled) and i do not appreciate being treated differently because i have one of their lower products. Cap 1 has always helped me, and i've respected them. Citibank, well their service is superb.. The others need to take note, because when we finally get out of our credit predicament, we'll be first to ditch them for someone who treats us with the respect we deserve, considering how much money they make off of us
I agree. Cap 1 has, with the exception of one time, always been helpful and professional. I have all prime cards, Cap 1 is my only borderline prime/subprime card, but they have not sufficiently pissed me off and have given me a very generous limit which is why I keep the card.

Then how do you explain Souter, who was nominated by Bush Sr., voting against GWB? Oh yeah, and also Justice Breyer is a close personal friend of Gore's and has been quoted as saying that he hoped that "his side" would win the election. TomL
RE: First Premier Bank Does anybody out there have the customer service number to First Premier Bank or First National Bank of Marin?
