capital one keeps harrasssing my parents. they have been told over and over again to stop calling them and writing them. they are probably calling them to get them to apply for credit with them. they call 3-4 times a day every day and my parents dont have any accounts with capital one. where can i find a sample letter to send to capital one that will tell them to stop calling and mailing applications to my parents. and does anyone know capital one's address.

If the situation is that bad. I suggest PFB Capital One. That way your letter/email will reach the right person.

there is a national do not call list you can put them on. I think it cost 5 and it stops all telemarketing calls. Anyone have the specifics? I don't but I remember reading about it. If they get on the list you get paid when a telemarketer violates and calls you.

your parents could tell them they already have a card and to please take them out of the database...

I tell newspaper telemarketers that I'm allergic to paper. they have no response to that one :)

and pfb is a great suggestion!

    Capital One's customer service # is (800) 903-3637

Have your parents call and asked to be removed from all solicitations.

You can also ask the credit bureaus to take your name off their lists. That should help as well...
