woo hoo!! just got a $300 increase from capital one on my classic dolphin card. my last increase of $100 was in january. this brings me from $600 to $900. increase will show in 2 - 3 business days. didn't think i would get one call them on a whim to see what their computers had in store for me today. called directly to retention. you can never predict or figure out their system. it's weird sometimes you get one and other times you don't. i remember the retention rep telling me a couple of months ago i had to wait until the system did an update on my acct apparently they do these updates every few months and the offers sit in the computer until you call and ask them to raise it, if you don't call you get nothing. good thing i called. i do like capital one, they are conservative though but a good bank. i have low rate of 13.9 on the interest too.
