I just received a preapproved offer from Cap 1 for. O% introductory AP/R on al purchases until Jan 2003. 2.9% Intro APR on all transferred balances with no fee And a fixed rate of 9.9%. I applied on line and was approved. However, they didn't tell me my CL. Did I just get a dent in my CR for a measly $500 credit limit? Is there a number I can call to find out myCL?
Just called. They won't be able to tell me my CL until I receive the card and activate. The only reason I applied needed some funds ASAP.
Re: Re: Capital One Inquiry Wow, Capital one is so gracious. I received my plantinum card yesterday, and I got a whole $500 credit limit. I'm not even going to activate the card. What a waste of a hard inquiry.
Re: Re: Capital One Inquiry I don't know if you've checked your reports, but you likely got THREE kisses from them (one on each)
Re: Re: Capital One Inquiry I have no idea why that creditor is so liked by alot of people. 3 hard inquiries for 1 card. That is terrible.
Re: Re: Capital One Inquiry Yup, I tried to upgrade my account to Plat. Even PFB Mr. Cooke. Took me three phone calls to get a hold of him. All this and three hard ones for a whopping $300.00 increase. Never again will I ask Cap 1 for anything. If it was not my oldest TL I will deep six it. Still I can't understand it, I have a perfect payment history of 6+ years and cannot get anything beyond a $300 cl boost and others are getting cl of 10k or better and cl boost at $1500.00 a crack. I'm happy for the folks here who have gotten the decent cl increases and the approvals for the 4.99% fix cc and the starting cl that are beyond $500.00 I've done all I can with my Cap 1 account as I have the correct cl listed on my reports (thanks to this board). Best regards, Mirage
Re: Re: Re: Capital One Inquiry Same here...aside from one last ditch attempt to get the TU reporting fixed to help the average age of account, I'm pretty much done with mine as well (sock drawer time).
