They gave me 2 credit line increases in 8 months and upgraded me to a gold card! I know their gold card doesn't hold much weight these days, but it's better than pulling out that shitty, marble green card. I just applied for another Cap One card and was approved. That is a lot of generosity on their part, considering I included a Cap One credit card in my 1992 BK filing. Amex and Citibank wouldn't give me the time of day, even though I have had perfect credit since the bankruptcy. I think these big prime lenders will soften their policies eventually, this is a huge part of the credit card market that they are missing out on (and also very profitable).
