Well, I paid out capital one and closed the account today,They keep sending me applications in the mail for gold master cards, but they wont give me a credit increase.I have been stuck at $200.00 for six months.Ive had it with them.the rep that I spoke with offered me a $300.00 increase to keep the account. NO thanks.
Re: CAPITAL ONE Rolo, Congratulations on taking action! It looks like you've found out the truth about Capital One. They are incredibly phobic about offering credit to ordinary people. They aren't in the credit business, but in the annual fee business.
Re: CAPITAL ONE I was stuck at 200 with capital one from jan 00 to november 00 when they sent me something in the mail to increase my limit for from 200 to 400 for 49 bucks....i thought about it for a while, but I took it....then two weeks later, a notice with my statement said they would increase it for free if I hadnt previously had an increase! so pi$$ed
